Can the MOH and BM have different fabics?

Hmm thats a tough one...

i guess if its a different color all together then it doesnt matter...

then again even the same color... and it will probably depend on the dress...

Do you have pics so we can see the 2 diff. fabrics?

Hi 08'er crashing. it took me a while to find my bms dresses bc of the different shapes of the girls. i was so set on having them choose whatever dress they felt comfortable in, as long as it was the same designer and same color. 2 of them chose satin and 1 of them chose a flowy organza type of fabric. they wore them side by side and it just looked off. my bms did not like them together or in pictures so we decided to go with the same dress, same fabric. its up to you and depends on the fabric but if you can see them side by side, snap a pic then maybe you can come to a solution. hth!

WHY NOT? Do you really care about the 'rules'?

I'm not concerned about the 'rules' I just want to make sure it looks good

You have a good eye - you'll pick something that matches well.

I want all of BMs and MOH to be in different styles but the same designer, color and fabric. I am thinking that if they are different fabric it might look a little off....but I could be wrong...it really depends on the dresses.

JMO: I think the colors will be off with different color fabric. And the lighting outside or in the room is also going to play a major role. The pictures may look off.

I say do whatever you like

i think it's going to depend mostly on how the color looks on each of the 2 fabrics you choose. you def need to see the dresses together to know.

I think as long as they look good together you will be fine.

I think its OK as long as the color/pattern is similar. If you go with say, velvet for the BM and satin taffeta for the MOH then it may clash. But if they are similar in coloring or fabric (like satin or silk or tulle) then it should be fine

i think it might look better both having the same fabric unless the 2 r very similiar...

I dont think I would do this but, I would have to see it side by side to really know

I would agree that it all depends on what they look like together.

i think as long as its the same designer/exact same color...then you are fine, in fact it will be beautiful!
