can the same dress be different prices at different bridal stores?
i found a dress that i love but it was $3000. do you think i'll find it for less somewhere else?

Dresses can very in price depeding on the store. I found my dress for $500 less than what I paid about 3 months before my wedding. I say if you have the time get the list of retailers for that dress manufacturer & price them all out to see who will give you the best deal.
ETA: Also, check out www.bridecouture.com They have a lot of designer dresses for amazing prices.

I didnt shop around fro my dress, but I have found varying prices for my BM dresses!

If this is an option for you, you might also consider buying the dress out of state & then having it altered here. The tax in jersey is less & there is no tax In Pennsylvania. Also, the prices can be cheaper there due to lower COL.

Yes, dresses are definitely priced differently at different stores. RK Bridal in Manahattan on 39th street between 8th and 9th avenues offers a discount on most dresses, I found a lot of dresses I liked there for around $200 less than in the boutiques on LI. Good Luck!

yes you can findthe same dress at different prices.I went to a bridal suite then I went to a wedding center and the wedding center was cheapier than the suite by $45.00

Check http://www.bridesave.com. I found my dress there for $200 cheaper after I had already purchased it.

Yes.
A coworker, married this summer, told me to shop around. She had bought her dress at one place...went with a friend to look at bm dresses at another store and saw it for 500$ less! That would really upset me. I guess the key is shopping around before you pay one.

I found various prices for my gown at different stores- in my case macy's was the most expensive.
