Hello I am new and just got engaged on August 14th!! Im so excited and love this site already. I was hoping we can all help each other out in regards to pricing!! Can you tell me the places you visited and the prices that were offered to you? I would love to have a general idea before I go. Thank you all so much !!! Any tips on how to get them to lower the price or add free things would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I got prices for may-sept for most places... but when i fell in love with CLM that was it and i asked how much it would be for april or october..
April- 65 on a friday night May-sept, 85 on fri Oct-75
Fridays are cheaper so i didnt bother asking for saturday prices.

For most places, it depends on the time of year and the season. Brentwood Country Clun offers a great package that comes with everything from limos to flowers. I am not using the package b/c I am doing most of it myself. I also checked out Timberpoint Country Club, West Sayville, Bellport, and Captain Bill's.

the time of year can certainly lower the price especially jan-april are the lowest- also oct- dec are low but not as low as jan-april. if u have a sat or sun afternoon its also lower than an evening wedding. during a holiday where the holiday lands on a weekday can be cheaper also.

For a Saturday Night in November we were quoted as:
110$ AFTER tax n grat. Larkfield Manor 90$ BEFORE tax n tip at Douglaston manor 110$ BEFORE tax and tip at Fox Hollow 135$ BEFORE tax n tip at Westbury Manor 140$ AFTER tax and tip at Floral Terrace.
So you know what I paid oh well..but i got some goodies.
My fav places were Larkfield and of course Floral Terrace! hope that helps!

Wow thank you!! I love floral terrace also.....Its definatly out of my budget though haha!! Im trying to stick with anywhere from 65-90 pp! I think CLM is gorgeous and I want to check that one out also...they are pretty reasonable I hear!! FH and I love the water so it would just be so exciting if we can get married near or onthe water!! Does anyone have quotes from the riviera or giorgios? Thanks all so much!!!

I LOVED Larkfield Manor- but FH wouldn't even go with me to see it b/c it's in Northport and he didn't want our guests being inconvenienced by driving to Suffolk (most are from Queens & some are upstate).
I just booked Douglaston Manor- they renovated and its absolutely beautiful....I also got some extras....just ask them what they can do for you on price or adding stuff in.....I think most places will work with you if they know it will get you to book.

Don't know if your interested in traveling all the way out to Staten Island but I'm getting married at the Vanderbilt at South Beach and it is STUNNING. It's right on the beach so you have ocean views all around and a private patio that is right on the boardwalk.
They are pretty pricey but depending on the day they might be able to work something out. Also, in order to have the whole place to yourself you need to guarantee them a certain amount or else they book another party to share the hall with you.
