Where did you all get your bras? I'm looking for a seamless longline strapless bra, but I really don't want to spend $50 for a bra that I truly will never wear again. Has anyone found any bargains anywhere? I also don't want anything too thick or heavy, as my dress is satin and has tons of crinoline and I have GOT to have some breathing room.
Thanks!

Re: Can we talk over the shoulder boulder holders?
I saw some good ones at Macys when I was looking for something to wear to my sister's wedding. The good thing is they have sales, like 30% off or 40% off. The bad part is the didn't have my size. I usually wear a 34C but for these bras I would need a 32D... the bras they have don't come in that size though. I ended up wearing one from VS that I already had.

YOu can try Marys Corsiteres in Woodbury. My chest is big- DD , and they were wonderful to work with for my bra for my wedding day. Hope this helps. PS Get there early- they have u put your name on a list before they call you.

Try Georgette's on 107 on Hicksville. They were very helpful and had lots and lots of sizes.
There is also a corsetierre(sp?) shop in East Meadow in the mall with the Home Depot on Hempstead Tpke.

I don't know! All the ones that were my regular size (34C) were too big (falling down) so then I tried on 32C but the cups were too small. I am not sure if it just me or everyone!

Re: Can we talk over the shoulder boulder holders?
When I was in the bridal shop they gave me a 32C to try on also (normally a 34C/D) and the cups were to small.
I wanted to go to a department store so I could buy a few different ones and try them on with my dress and keep the one that fits the best with my dress and return the rest.

Re: Can we talk over the shoulder boulder holders?
When I tried on ym gown, they gave me a long line to wear. She said I might be a differnt size than my bra, but they didn't have it, so I think the one I wore was my regualr size ( 36C). It seemed ok, but I'd liek to try differnt ones & comapre. I didn't think MACy's carried those kind, but they do have a lof teh body shaper things I've used on other occasions.
I was expecting it to run more than $50. Bras are so darn Expensive!
I haven't started to look yet, I'm going to try & loose weight first. I may go to that place in Hicksville, it is near where my mom lives.

Re: Can we talk over the shoulder boulder holders?
I had a difficult time finding a longline bra also, so I ordered this one from myglassslipper.com (where I also bought my shoes). It REALLY pulls you in and pushes you up, and the size fit exactly as my normal bra size (36B). I'm still not quite sure how Im going to like it under my gown .. haven't tried the entire ensemble togther
The link is to the bridal section, but you may find something on the regular part of the site.
