Can you be high on cough syrup?

I have Bronchitis and took my Z-pac this morning and then the cough syrup the Doc rx. Well, apparently I think I am 'high' from this crap. Oh myyyyyy!

I used to mix cough syrup with ginger ale in high school for a quick high.

Oh my goddddd...this is horrible. I have a fever and I am not suppose to feel this way.
