CAN YOU BELIEVE

I told FH that I want to be a mom by 30, I told him this from the beginning..... so, we have exactly 1 year and 3 months after the wedding to have a baby!!!

I watched my nephew last weekend..and the whole time I was so annoyed..lol! I was just thinking wow...we can drop him off...but when we have kids..they will come home with us!

Excatly my thoughts. I think it's waaaay to soon to have a baby right after you are married. My older family members always tells me - wait a few yrs- enjoy your lives together as a couple-go places. Kids are a HUGE responsibility.

But yeh I hear what you guys are saying. But having a baby RIGHT after marriage is to soon. I think you should establish yourself and a house, etc.

lol yeah but thats getting lucky, once you hid late 30's it becomes difficult to have a baby and have to try more, for most women. And last thing i want to do at 40 or 50 is take care of babies lol.

Plus i want 3 or 4 so can't start too late bc of that hahaha..

Ill be 28 when i get married and FH will be 29 so if we start having 2 kids 2 years later that should be fine but at the same time if it did happen sooner i would still be excited

I can't imagine having kids right away. I mean, i know a lot of people do it, and some people are itching to have a baby... but i'm not one of them.

I have to say, some brides have been with their FH many many years before they tie the knot, in which case possibly getting pregnant right after the wedding (aka, the 'honeymoon baby') is not that unusual, bad, or out of reach.

Also some women are 'older' so to speak (although no really!!), already in their mid to late thirties and may want to start right away. I can understand that...

Another thought is, like FH and myself, we are already established with our own home, we purposefully bought a house a year before the wedding planning.... so thats not something we'd have to deal with before planning a baby.

I saw whether its 4 months before, the day of, or 7 years later, I think it great for anyone to be able to have a healthy, happy child....good for them!!

I DON'T THINK its unusual at all...one of my close friends who is a member on here wants a honeymoon baby, she has been with her Fh for a long time and i dont see anything wrong with it, plus its her life.

I am saying just for me personally i want to wait a little bit not even that long bc i am quickly approaching 30, about 2 years would be ideal for me.

i dont think it's bad at all

im not ready to have kids yet bc i want to be selfish and live with Anthony for a few years first

but kudos to everyone who gets pregnant quickly
