I called her for addresses and she had the nerve to tell me that sending my invites out right before X-mas was too early...by the time most of the out of towners get them, it will be the 1st or 2nd week in January, which is 2 months before the wedding!!! Also, keep in mind she is not contributing anything to this wedding, it's all us, my dad and stepmom, and FH parents.

But why would it take up to a month for your guests to receive their invitations? I sent my out of town invitations out extra early too, but more so that people could book flights and hotels. They got the invitations 3 days after I sent them out and they went overseas.

Honestly, I would wait till after Xmas! it's the worst time of the year to mail anything! Your invitations can easily get lost or arrive in a deplorable condition!

I have to say that I agree with WhatNow...I would wait until after the holidays to mail out your invitations.
