So MOnday we were sitting at a meeting at work and people are asking me where my reception is going to be and I say the Swan Club (which is also where a lady that a work with is having her daughter's) So this teacher that we work with launches into this whole thing about how horrible it is and how crowded because there are 4 weddings at a time (which is not EVEN TRUE!)
I didn;t say anything and apparently the lady whose daughter is getting married there was really upset! I am so passed caring what people think...but I was soooo APPAULED!

some people never think before they speak. what she said was incredibly rude and uncalled for. i have never been to the swan club, but i've heard nothing but nice things about it.
don't let these people get to you, her opinion does not matter.

you'll realize that weddings bring out the worst in people and that they speak like they know it all, because they are married or b/c they know someone who knows someone who got married at your hall. i say, just don't listen to the bs or just don't talk about your wedding in front of certain people

Some people are just rude. All that matters is that you and your FI love the place. Don't listen to ignorant people. I guess that teacher never heard of the saying 'If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all'.

I know I need to keep my mouth shut around the people I work with...from Day 1 everyone has told me their opinion about the month I am getting married, the length of my engagement, the place, etc.. ITS REALLY ANNOYING AND I DON'T ASK FOR THESE OPINIONS

Obviously this person had a need to hear themselves talk. You should ask her next time if it hurts when she talks out of her a$$. and by the way, I have heard nothing but good things about the Swan Club.

I asked her where she got married (which I won;t say where) but I could have said a few things about that place too...but I didn;t
I mean this girl thinks she knows everything...the fact is that she was married an now divorced and thinks she knows everything but she is bitter I am sure
