Can you believe the Priest stood us up?
I went through all this trouble to get married at the church in my town and the church never called me back. I was telling one of my art teachers about how frustrated I was and she told me that is very goods friends with one of the priest at my church. So this priest called me back right away and set up a meeting with us. I liked him very much and asked him to perform our ceremony and he agreed. After a year and a half my mom tells me that this other priest from another church(who happens to be from the same small town in Italy that my mom is from) offered to marry us. I agreed to make my mom happy and we were supposed to meet him yesterday at 1pm. He said that there is a youth get together going on and just to look around for him. Well we looked around for him for over an hour and no body could find him. We looked everywhere the church, rectory, knocking on doors, back to the parish center, waiting in our car, back to the church, then back to the parish center. People were trying to find him and told us 'Have you checked the kitchen?' (excuse me? I am not checking in the kitchen)'Have you checked here? Have you checked there? ' I shouldn't have to run around crossing the street back and forth looking like an idiot trying to find this guy. My FI and I were joking around and saying how this is a test and he is probably looking out the window to see how patient we are. People saw him so he was definitely there, so where the hell is he? After an hour we left because I had to get to work and haven't had lunch yet. He didn't even call to apolize yet. So my question is how to I tell him 'Nevermind, I want my old priest back' (without being a bit#@ and offending him)
