FH and I went out tonight just to get an idea of which tux vest we wanted... Yes I know that I am 7 months before my wedding.. I like to be prepared.. I go back for my final semester of classes before graduation in september.. take my boards in late january/early feb.... not going to have much time...
well we walk into a tux shop tonight (not sure if I can say their name on here) like 7ish.. and we tell the woman that we are there looking for tuxes.. and she was very bubbly - asked when the wedding was - i told her April - she goes OH YOU MUST BE ONE OF THOSE BRIDES.. I turned and looked at Michael - felt the theme song for bridezilla going off in the background.. I couldnt believe I didnt put my foot up her ***. How dare she judge me without knowing my situation? But i am very proud of myself for not ripping her face off right there....

i know.. we picked out our colors - but we wasted a good hour of her time - I know what colors we are getting now - I will just get them from somewhere else..

she's lucky it wasnt me she said that too cause i would have ripped her face off and then i would have asked to see her boss so i can tell him or her that they will be loosing a customer cause of their rude sales people.

What a NASTY response, I wouldn't have handled it quite the same way, good for you for keeping your cool and not going bridezilla :) Just take your business to someone who will work with you and appreciate your situation!!

Too much! Some people have such wonderful customer service skills. Makes you feel bad for the owner. I'm proud of you containing the inner bridezilla. I would certainly not hesitate to call and inform upper management of her comment and that you will be taking your business elsewhere.

Whenever that happens to me, I make sure to call the store back, or call the manager and explain why I'm taking my business elsewhere! It gives me some (Bridezilla-ish) satisfaction to think that the salesperson is being reprimanded by their boss on my behalf! HEE hee

Thats ridiculous...people are so judgemental...and i agree that she definately has no idea what your situation is so if she really wanted business she would be more... understanding? polite? I don't even know.

OH MY GOD! Let me tell you... thats rediculous. liike ive said a million times NO ONE KNOWS WHAT YOUR PERSONAL SITUATION IS! What if you were in the peace corps or the marines and were being shipped out for 6 months? I dont get people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
