Can you believe this???
I am so ****ed.....to make a loooong story short, when my FI and I moved to NJ from Queens, we rented an apt and a parking spot next to the building. Since August I have had 7 slashed tires, 3 broken windows, graffiti written ON my car and stuff stolen from the car and the trunk. The owners of the lot proceeded to do nothing.
This past month, 2 more tires were slashed. OK we do not have all this extra $$ to spend on repairs in addition to the $150./month we pay to park there! So we witheld April's payment and gave the May pmt to the owner with a note stating that it was not fair and what can we do to resolve it?
Well, I am walking to the train this morning and the owner sees me and stops me. He starts screaming at me 'We want you out by the end of the month! We've had it with you guys - you don't wanna pay then get out!'![]()
Well, I told him not to yell at me , he was being unprofessional and how dare he talk to me like that after I was trying to have a decent conversation. HE continued to yell and then just walked away! I was fuming.....we were going to stay here for a few more months after the wedding in Sept just for $$ reasons, but now we decided to leave in July when our lease is up. I can't take it - I want to live in a nice quiet, safe place!!! Sorry just had to vent.....so now we have to look for a place in addition to all the wedding stuff.......aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!![]()
