Can you buy a shawl or jacket separate from a dress?
Is this possible? Where should I look?
Do you think the bridal stores will have them to purchase separately?

one option (this is what I did for the bridesmaids), is taking a sample of your dress material to a fabric shop (i went to one in manhattan), and I found the EXACT fabric match for my girls BCBG bridesmaids dresses. I am having shawls made for $20 each....and it is a perfect match to their dresses.

Can you post where you went??? I need one too and having trouble finding a place and I need material and shawl's for my BM's. I would aprpeciate it SO much!!! Thanks
