I found the BM dress I want but I want to shop around. I was wondering if you can call up and get prices over the phone? If anyone has any suggestions on where I should try, please tell!

call Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills. They quote over the phone. The Wedding Center in Commack also quotes over the phone.
Depending on who answers the phone, Helen's in Commack will give you quotes as well

i called 3 stores and they all did...bridal reflections, RK bridal and Lilettes...good luck!

ok, the first place said 210. I called the wedding center which i really didn't want to get involved with after going there and having a bad experience but their price is 184. It might be worth it to order it there and do alterations else where. hmmm...I'm going to call bridal elegance now.

please do yourself a favor and call phyllis at bridal elegance. that's where i ordered my dress from and plan on ordering my BM dresses there as well
...she quoted me over the phone for my dress, is VERY professional, and is SOOOO sweet. my mom went there w me this weekend so i could try on my dress and my mom ended up ordering a dress too. for the rest of the day all she could talk about was how impressed she was by phyllis and what a great business she runs.
i sound like an advertisement or something but i can't help it, she is the BEST. and i have heard RAVE reviews about her work for alterations.

I also went through BE. I called all the places you mentioned and they by FAR had the best prices. It wasn't even close. She can usually match most prices as well if you tell her what you found.
Also make sure you find out about alterations at all places. Some places have a cap and others don't. Also bustle 'points' sometimes make a difference.

This thread helps me out too... most of my BMs live in brooklyn like i do..so it's great to hear some places will give u a quote over the phone!!!!
