Can you check me on this?

You were all SO helpful yesterday I thought I'd try again with a response card question...
Is this right?

sounds good..but are you not stamping the international ones so that they may be sent back or are you providing e-mail *in case* they don't make it back via the mail??

Less wordy - I just went through this over the weekend when I did my invites. I also would leave off the 'number attending' part. JMO. You don't want to leave it open for guests to add people who weren't invited...

I think it's great the way you have it. If you think you'll have a problem with people adding people, you can add:

_ seats have been reserved in your honor

But I think taking out the 'number attending' leaves you open to under or overestimate people - if you invite someone with a guest, how do you know it they're bringing them?

I am leaving the number attending to make sure there is no confusion. I think with my family if we don't put # attending they will add on last minute! If there is too much on a response we'll intercept...

I am putting the e-mail for int'l because it is difficult for some to mail it and I'd say about 1/2 prefer e-mail. One of my aunts only gets mail about once a month so we are actually going to fax her a copy of the intitation!

I promise to post pics when we get this finished!

That's what the 'M__________' line is for. The guest RSVP'ing will write the names of who is attending. Well, they *should* write the names.

I was one of the idiots that never thought to write a date's name in the M___ section. But then again, I never brought a date until recently!

my gut reaction is the line 'number attending' is leaving you wide open to people bringing extra people. The M__________ line is sufficient IMO for the names of who is attending.
