my scalp was itching me tonight and suddenly i had all these flakes!!! i know they weren't there two weeks ago...what happened?

probably. I always get dandruff in the winter. I was my hair once a week with head and shoulders and its fine. In the spring and summer its fine so the shampoo goes back into the closet. its strange.
ETA: That I sound like a total dirtbag. I do wash my hair everyday with shampoo just not Head and shoulders.

since dying can dry your hair out, it definately is possible to get dandruff.

thank you ladies. and i can't use the head and shoulders b/c i think it will ruin the color, although the color has changed in over a week. go figure!

just buy a moisturizing color shampoo - they have very expensive ones, but I've found that the l'oreal color vive works pretty well.
