Can you give a cat a bath?

Can you give a cat a bath?

Just wondering if anyone gives their cat a bath and if you do, what is the best way to go about it?

Yes, my baby gets a bath about once every 2 months. I started him young, so he's used to it. And now I'm lazy so I take him to the groomer where they bathe him. The best way is to fill the tub with warm water and gently place him/her in it...then wash and rinse slowly (so that you don't startle) with a bucket. Then blowdry. There are sites that help too...good luck!

NEVERRRRRRRRRRRR I wouldn't even attempt it. My cats would claw my eyes out.

Good idea Something Blu I should have started them young too.

My Monkey would NEVER let me give her a bath. She loves to play with the water but when it would come down to me putting her in it she would not have it. My cat is satan_spawned anyway so I wouldnt even try to attempt it. Although they do sell dry baths. I tired it once and it was OK, I think Petco sells it.
