Can you guys please help me find...

Original post by Jmg11

BEDDING!!! I have searched high and low but I can't find something I really like that is not $1000.

Our room is BIG and we have very little furniture or color (the furniture is dark brown wood - espresso - and the walls are sage green, oh and our headboard is oatmeal-our furniture is contemporary and so is our bed - but it has a traditional twist to it) -so I want something colorful for the bed. It is a HUGE bed (king size pillow top) so it really is the focus of the room. I can't hang decorations or curtains until I find the bedding so the room is empty.

Husbands rules: No flowers (My rules say they can have SOME flowers if need be, he will live) ;)

We need it to be a duvet cover - with pillow shams and throw pillows to match - but no dust ruffle or sheets needed (unless they are deep pocket)

TIA!

Here are some pics of our room:

here is the actual furniture pics:

ok..JMO but if you have sage walls, go with something like scotts...the ones you posted I think the lim shown is too much with olive walls

I think I am goign to order it and play around with it, I can always return it if it is not right.

Besides my husband likes it - and isn't that half the battle haha.

it looks more orange in the photo...have you seen it in person.

What do you mean by fancy???

Just an idea...if you like a print but the pillows are Blah.....there are inexpensive ways to spruce up a toss pillow.
Ex....find solid matching pillows, then get a complementary satin or silk/tewtured ribbon and tie like a present (you know, cover top, cross on bottom and tie in bow on top) Looks pretty as topper on bed.

You can also get fring and add to pillow edges too.
