can you recommend a good cobbler in NYC?

does anyone know of a reliable cobbler who can repair designer shoes?

Where did you buy them? Can you go to the place where you purchased them?

I bought stuart weitzman shoes from Bloomingdales once and the strap broke after wearing them once. I brought them back, and they sent them to back to stuart weitzman for repair - for free.

Go to the leather spa on 55th between 5th and 6. My friend who is more of a shoe diva than I am recommended them to me and they are incredible. Even recently, when i went to purchase a pair of Louboutins I asked where i can get a sole repaired and they said to bring it to Leather Spa (I didnt tell them that was where i take my shoes).

Obviously they are kind of pricey but well worth it imo

don't worry. that was my reaction before i heard about the other meaning of 'cobbler'!
