Can you say awkkkkkwarddd

I was with a coworker today (who is on the bottom of my B list) and we were talking about our weddings (she was mainly talking about hers). Another person walks into my room and says to my coworker, 'you're going to her wedding right?' Umm?!?! The coworker laughed and said no she's not invited.
I gave a nervous laugh. When the woman left, my coworker felt the need to DISCUSS it! She was like 'oh I know I'm not invited. That was so awkward'. THEN she was asking who I DID invite- and I was being coy - and then she admitted that another coworker told her she got a save the date for mine! Ew. Whatever. Then she CONTINUED on about how we haven't been close for that long so she understands, but not to get her wrong, she'd love to come, but she understands.

Could not have gotten any more awkward!!!!!!

SOOOO awkward.

I have to tell you though..people DO understand. I only A_listed a few co-workers and B-listed the rest and they totally understood and are excited to come

Yikes!!! Totally awkward! But it was probably just as awkward for her (hence why she may have kept babbling on a bout it lol)

Why would anyone want to discuss this! It only makes them look like an idiot!!!

I have a few friends that continue to do this. And everytime i just giggle cause I have no idea what to say.
