For summer weddings....if you are wearing open toe sandals, are you wearing pantyhose in the church? My mom insists that I do But I dont think I will...I cant imagine pantyhose with open toe sandals in the summertime...tisk tisk!
No pantyhose, ever! But you definitely cannot wear them with open-toed shoes! Tell your mother no one is going to see your legs anyway.

Please Please don't wear panty-hose. You will sweat number 1 and number 2, thats soooooooooooo not what you should wear with open toe shoes. Thats just bad...

I never wear panty hose but, the school where I work makes all the girls wear them for graduation - if you do decide to wear them in the church get sheer to toe (not reenforced toe) its not as bad.

ETA: These are shoes made by a salsa dancer. I got them at the bridal shop. They are 2 1/4' and are SUPER confy!!

ABSOLUTELY NOT! My gown is a ballgown, so there's no way I'm wearing pantyhose.
If you absolutely must....buy the toeless ones.....they come to a point like a thong shoe (flip flop) so that there's nothing covering your toes. I personally can't stand them and think they're uncomfortable, but my mother swears by them.
Luckily lots of companies now make footless pantyhose, that cut off either at the ankle or below the knee, or somewhere in between. You can get them pretty much everywhere. (Spanx makes good ones). That way, you have something on your legs, if thats what you want, but your feet are free for open-toed shoes.
I'm wearing these shoes, dyeing them lavender and bought shoe clips. This was the closest I could find and mine don't really look like these (they are more rounded, pearls are smaller and less, more of a blueish purple stone and more crystal stones).
