that is not too pricy. I am in a friends bridal party and we are trying to find places to hold her shower thats not too expensive bc the bridal party is paying for the whole shower. Her mother is not really chipping in so we have to take it upon ourselves to pay. We want to give her a nice bridal shower but we are all on a budget. I also think she is inviting about 70 pp!!

you can always do a knights of columbus and bring in some dishes. Or you can cut out the cost of a hall completely and have it in someones backyard depending on the time of year and if you have a backyard to use.

my parents live in east meadow. they don't eat there that much, but some places are
la novella on EM avenue spumante on hempstead tpke
you can try benny's restaurant in westbury on post avenue, or matteo's in bellmore. my e-party was at king umbertos in elmont; they were very reasonable. cara mia in seaford/massapequa is also nice.

Re: Can you suggest a nice place to hold a shower...
for inexpensive places in queens we found 1.sly fox inn - ive actually attended a shower here and i thought it was very nice. we had the whole restaurant...depending on your package, $11.95 per person or $13.95 per person.
2. Taste of Asia - filipino food and it is buffet style. you get 5 dishes for $15.95 pp, white rice, soda, dessert and coffee.
3. Portofino in forest hills – $26 fri-sun, $29 Saturday – salad, entrée, dessert, veggies, coffee/tea and I THINK he said unlimited wine (?)
this is off the top of my head. when i get home, ill see what else was on the list.

I'm from East Meadow and my shower is in Mineola at Piccola Bussola. I have no idea how much it costs.

We are on such a tight budget we were thinking of not having a RD at all but I feel bad for the guests that are flying in for our wedding, I feel like we have to do something. I'm really looking for something super reasonable because we have very little to spend. The crabhouse sounds great but I think it might be a little too pricey then what we're looking
