Can you take anything when you're sick and prego??
I have been fighting off this cold for 2 weeks now. I'm going to the doctor today, but can he even do anything for me at this point?

I was sick last week and the doctor told me to take Robitusim (SP) and Sudafed. There is a list out there on what you over the counter meds. you can take. It's better to see the dr. to get their recommendation IMO.

Oh Demetra, so sorry to hear your sick.
My friend was told there are a few things you CAN take. Tylenol being one of them & I think she took some sinus meds... not 100% on that one though.

I was told to keep warm, drink plenty of fluids... especially oj, and get lot's of rest. And pretty much nothing else can be done.

Wait until you see the dr. Mine said I could take Robitussin but only the plain one. They don't really want you taking much of anything. After being sick for over a week, I finally went to a dr yesterday. I told her I was pregnant and she gave me antibiotics that are safe to take during pregnancy. Feel better!

Thanks! I went to the doctor and got antibiotics which are okay to take. Also some cough syrup with codeine, which I would rather not take, but I may have to for a couple of nights because me and need our beauty rest!
