My dh's parents have been married for just over 36 years, God bless them. My parents have been divorced since I was 14. My mom's been re-married & re-divorced twice since then, and my dad has been living with his girlfriend for about 16 1/2 years, but he'll never marry her.

My parents will be married 27 years (5 days after our wedding!) FI's parents are divorced, I think about 18 years ago, when he was 12.

my parents are hitting 40 years in May...although it is good for them now...I don't know how they made it through...
DH's father died before he was born, but they were married for about 8 years before that

my parents are not. FH parents are.
We both feel we learned a lot from there in what we want and don't want from a relationship.

My parents dated eachother since they were twelve. They were married for 29 years and have been separated for almost ten. My FI's father died when he was a little boy and his mom passed away this Father's Day.

My parents are thankfully divorced and my Mom is remarried
DH parents just celebrated 48 years together! I don;t know how FFIL does it!!

DH are divorces and mine were married 41 years when my mom died. I can only hope Matt and I do as well as they did after all those years together!
