Can You uninvite people to your wedding?

I am kidding but the idea has popped into my head several time. 1 month before the wedding I am getting my RSVP back and people are adding guests to it umm no you cannot bring your new girl/boyfriend, sister, aunt , whoever. I am way over on the guest list as it is. Was anyone else hoping people would RSVP no so they could shorten their list lol

I think it's so rude for people to just invite whomever they want when they aren't invited w/a +1.

If guests do this i would call them and explain they cannot bring anyone. If they have a problem they don't have to come. Solves your problem either way lol.

I have an awesome story.

My BFF got married a few weeks ago. One of our mututal friends (now my ex-friend!) RSVP'd with a +1, even though she wasn't invited with one. My BFF politely told her she wasn't invited with a guest. The girl said OK, no problem. So this girl decides to send my BFF a FACEBOOK MESSAGE THE NIGHT BEFORE the wedding saying that she couldn't come to the wedding... no reason and no apology. I later found out it was because she couldn't bring a guest. How rude and immature is that???? Grow up!

Until people plan a wedding or are involved in planning a wedding, they have absolutely no idea what it's like.

I agree. She is def immature. I just don't get it. Now I have to spend my 2 days off from work calling those who didn't RSVP and those who thought they could bring a +1 and in some cases a +3!
