I'd recommend not useing 2 florists - the flowers might be different qualities, and the florists themselves might get insulted. They are artists who really take pride in thier work, and if they know you are using someone else - they might not take it well. That's just my opinion though. I'd say shop around and see who can give you the best price overall if that's what you're concerned with. And so far - the best prices I've seen were from Jack and Rose!

I also would not recommend using 2 florists, I think it may be too confusing and the flowers may not match for example, my centerpieces were matched to the bouquets all secquenced, if you had 2 florist I think the colors may be off, especially if they are sprayed flowers. Plus, the more you purchase from some florists, the larger the discount. Just my opinion, but I hope it helps.

it would also be more confusing to work with 2 florists.

keep in mind that usually it is the centerpieces that make up most of the total amount - the personals are usually not too much in comparison.

i would go with the florist you like that has the cheaper centerpieces- just my opinion.

I used 2 florists and didn't have any problems at all. I used the in florist for the centerpieses because I got the best price from them. ( I didn't want fancy or large centerpieces; it wasn't a priority for me). The other florist was in charge of all the other flowers. Also, my ceremony was in Manhattan and my reception was in Long Island so it was easier for me to use 2 different vendors.

I don't see why not. As long as the colors are the same, I don't think people who look that closely at your personal flowers to notice ( or care) that they don't match your centerpieces.

I am. For the bo-k's and boutineers I am using a florist in Staten Island. For the centerpieces I am using Pedestals in Howard Beach. Since I live in SI it would be a lot easier to have a local florist drop off the bo-k's.

I think you would generally get a better price if it's all one vendor because of the size of the order but I don't think there will be any problems using two different florists.

if you know what's in your B-Qs can't you just tell the other florist that?

i could see using two separate places if the reception is far away from where you ae getting ready... and want to have 1 florist closer to each place... just keep in mind quality might vary

i can't see why not - but it might be more difficult - in case the styles don't match, or color, etc....

I would think you would get a better price using just one.
