Is there anything you just thought you couldn't live without having at your wedding, but now you've come up with another idea or you just don't want it anymore?
I orginally wanted plasma screens displaying our pictures thoughout the reception, but after I got an outrageous quote from the dj, Ive decided to just frame our pictures and have them spread out around the room...

I actually never wanted those, I have been to plenty of weddings that had that and although it looks cool, I kinda see that type of thing for more like a sweet 16. I don't want to offend anyone who is having this b/c I know so many people are, it just isn't my style.

I originally thought that I had to have the Dancing on the Clouds for my first dance, but now I don't care as much for it.

i'm having a video screen dipslay pictures and my DJ takes pictures of my guests and displays them ... i got a very good quote too so if you are intrested FM me ... the only thing is the screen isnt plasma ...

I had to have a band!! But they are expensive and after seeing someone their DVDs! I booked a DJ who will provide a live percussionist and live sax player. It's going to be so much fun I can't wait!

Thats another thing I wanted...Because our song is So High, by John Legend and he talks about being close to heaven...but now I could care less...

I understand, my Mom feels the same way. I wanted them more for a slideshow of me and FH...

Most people have given me funny looks about this, but my FH and I decided not to have dancing at our reception. It just doesn't make sense for the kind of people we are nor for the guests we'll be having. We chose to have an intimate dinner with soft mood music (no expensive bands/DJs) in order to really connect with our guests.
Tradition for us lies in the church wedding/mass.

originally i thought that i absolutely had to have a vienesse hour with all the goodies....but then i thought about the added price per person and said 'screw that!' LOL

I want them to play when I have the people sitting down for dinner I want to have this pics put on cds so I can keep them for later one for Children etc.... memories of how we grew up and grew together

OK So originally I wanted the VH but after FH heard what the total bill would be for 200 people he was quick to say no. He told me either I can have my VH added or get the honeymoon of my dreams, French Polynesia Islands. So you know I picked my honeymoon

same here. I wanted it.. but as of right now the price is a bit more than I can afford.
But my RH offers an ice cream bar, and since we are getting married at the end of june I thought it was fitting.
So we are going with an ice cream sundea bar.

I originally also wanted those big huge candlabra CPs. Now I'm thinking of DIY with candles, silk leaves and gourds from my mothers garden... she's a big fan of fall and halloween too so we always grow them! I can make the CP for less than $50 by far and it would look so nice for the fall! I haven't decided what to do yet but I don't think I'm getting those big CPs anymore. To much $ for something that dies. I can use that money for the HM or furnature for the house.

I actually didn't want anything extra for my wedding - but since we are doing so well with the budget i decided to throw in that photo montage ( we have been together for ten years - so we have LOTS of pictures)
We are also doing a Viennese AND afterhours if it fits in the budget
so basically everything we wanted - we budgeted for and we are able to do it. . . but only bc we kind of aimed low
I DID want to go to St Lucia ANT Key West for the HM but now we are splitting that into a HM and one year anniversary.
