Cancelations

Cancelations

So I am less than 3 weeks away and we got 3 cancelations already.

ON average how many people would you say canceled on you last minute??

I am really afraid its going to keep messing up my seating, i have to send in my table numbers to the person who is making my place cards this week!

We just got 2 (one couple) today - thankfully we haven't made our final payment yet

3 (1/2) cancellations. 3 different women had health issues the week of the wedding. All 3 husbands came.

I had no no shows.

I gave the hall 4 people under - so we ended up pretty okay. When i gave my hall the seating chart I told them there might be a few people who don't come for health reasons (unbeknownst to me who they would be) - they told me it was absolutely fine and they prefer to have the 'correct' seating chart instead and they'd just pull the chairs the day of from the tables.

I had two cancellations via FB the MORNING OF!! And one the night before.

The week of - I had about 4

1 cancellation! FH's friend....he booked everything, then cancelled on us and said he could not afford it and planned a vacation to CA instead.

We had 4, but 2 were before our final payment and the other 2 were legit ( cancelled flights)

i think we had 4 cancellations but it was a week before the wedding and 2 no shows only b/c their flight was delayed b/c of the insane rain storm we had that day

oh man! What can ya do i guess?

I know people say to give a few less than your total count but how do you pull that off when you give them the seating chart and there are clearly a few extra seats???

had 3 cancellations the week before. I had two the day of, my cousin and his GF. She came up with a really bad excuse of her grandmother dying, and then posted on facebook 2 hours later after I found out she wasn't coming that she was at a 1st birthday party....duh.

we had 0 cancellation, but we had 4 no shows which we expected so we told them 99 when were gave our total but then 4 people that said they werent coming showed in the end i wound up with 103 (3 over my minimum)

UGH. Cancellations are one thing (I haven't had any yet but we'll see) but my mom already said if we have no-shows on our side she is going to call the people up after the wedding. There were 4 no-shows for my brother's wedding, and I can see the same people doing it again--they are so unreliable. If my mom wants to call them, I'm allll for it
