Hey guys I have a question. I know that I read that in Nassau if you cancel a place you don´t get your deposit back. But are you also legally obligated to pay off the full balance? I´m not 100% ready to cancel my RH yet but I´ve been having so many issues and the lates is too much. If it doesn´t get fixed I may just have to do that.
I just want to know how much of an option that is. If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Gemma

Re: Canceling RH in Nassau
Hi Gemma,
Usually on the back of the contract that you signed there is a section in regards to cancelation. My contract specifies, that if I cancel the RH, I am held liable up to 75% of the cost if they can NOT rebook the date I have reserved. Hope this helps.

Re: Canceling RH in Nassau
My big issue is that I´m overseas and sent my parents in to sign for me for me. I FIANNLY got through to my (third one in about a month!!) Banquet Manager and he said the only thing we lose is the deposit but I still want to see what the contract says.
Thanks so much!!

I would read the fine print on your contract and see what it states as far as cancellations go. Thats the best place to start in this sort of situation. Good Luck!

Re: Canceling RH in Nassau
I was actually booked with Leonards at the beginning of the year, and I cancelled with them because i loved WB more!! I only deposited $500 and they kept $300 of it and they said that if they got my date boked they would give me back the remaining $200. I would definitely speak with the BM to see what he says.
