I felt so sad walking in there and tell them I had to cancel the order, but I didn't want to take the chance of never getting it and having to pay for it (since I got my CC Bill).
The Jewelry manager said if they aren't bought by the end of this week they are officially closing all stores the 28th of the month.
I used the remainder of my gift card and got some muffin pans and kitchen gadgets.

So sorry, Nicole. We returned our wedding bands, too to another jewelery store like days before they went out of business. (Littman's).

aww sorry!! but i think you did the right thing, you cant risk that!! also if you really love that design and havnt seen it anywhere else i would get try and get a quote to see how much it would be to get them made

Sorry to hear about that...
To hear of Fortunoff's current situation, just makes me a bit concerned of what the future holds for other vendors. I am afraid of seeing more posts of like this one, where couples will need to find other vendors because the one they selected can no longer afford to stay in business.
This whole economic situation stinks!!

Everyone keep in mine.... I believe Lord and Taylor (or bloomy's but i'm pretty sure lord and taylor) will be buying all of Fortunoff's jewerly and selling it in their stores if Fortunoff's does close
