Cancelled Wedding!!!

My wedding was on May 29th (the sunday of memorial day). I broke the engagement and am stuck with tons of money in deposits. The wedding was at the Larkfield Manor in East Northport and the DJ (B*i*g H*i*t*s), Photographer (P*a*t*k*e*n), and Florist (B*u*r*t*o*n's) were all booked. I'm sorry to hear! Do you have wedding insurance by any chance? I know they refund your deposits if you do.

sorry to hear that!! I'm sure it sucks about all of those deposits but you saved yourself years of pain/debt! I'm sure you made the right decision!

Wow. I'd totally do this if I wasn't so far along in my planning. Did you try posting this on the 2012 board? Some girls are still in the beginning planning stage. And try the 2013 board!

Wow, i say kudos to you for making this decision. Somtimes people will go on with it because of the money and for whatever reasons but i have to say, it takes a brave and powerful woman to break it off. You saved more than what you spent! I am sure you will find someone who will take the offer. If i were just planning, i may just have contacted you. I agree that you should go on the 2012 boards. You got ladies here that you can vent to.
