Me and FH have to cancel a contract with a vendor and we're having massive anxiety over it. I'm trying to think of the best way to handle it and MAYBE still get some of our deposit back. Any suggestions?

Check your contract first...usually it outlines what you lose by cancelling, etc. Usually its your deposit and some its your deposit plus X amount
Speak to the vendor and apologize but say you have decided to go with someone else b/c they just seem to fit your vision for your wedding better and what do you need to do to take of this situation ASAP

Thank you. I was going to have FH call but he's been dragging his feet. I see I'm going to have to 'man up' and do this. LOL

yea, its tough but its not that bad, just say what I posted above...it puts no guilt on either one of you-KWIM?
