What do you think of going to Cancun for your honeymoon? What resort would you recommend?

If you are flying into Cancun I would recommend going to Riviera Maya and stay at either the Iberostar Grand Hotel or Secrets Excellence which are both for couples only. They are all inclusive resorts, they are beautiful places. You can go to tripadvisor.com and check out what reviews are on their.

I have been to Cancun numerous times and it gets better each time. Here is a new hotel in the Riveria Maya. I have not been to it but it looks really great!

If you want to be smack in the middle of the action - try Le Blanc or the Royal Cancun.
A friend of mine went to Excellence Riveria Cancun and loved it!

Cancun and riviera maya are pretty different from what I understand. There are more intimate places outside cancun. But in cancun from what I have seen there are some All Inclusives and then some nice upscale places. Le Blanc resort has great reviews on tripadvisor and looks awesome! Then the Ritz Carltun there looks amazing!

We wanted to go to Cancun but unfortunately we would be going around Spring Break time. So we are going to Riviera Maya and staying at Excellence Adults Only Resort.

Le Blanc Secrets Capris
Check out the Valentin Imperial....it's brand new, adults only. FH and I are going there for a long weekend at the end of the month. I will let you know how it was.
ive been to cancun but i recommend going to the riviera maya for your honeymoon...it is still part of cancun but not such a young party place..i am staying at secrets capri in the riviera maya
