i've never been to mexico or the carribean, so i have no clue what the flight prices average.
we are going to Cancun for the HM in June which i think is off season.
the prices now are around $500 each for round-trip, this seems pretty good to me.
any advice? book it or wait?

For June that price is way to high. You should pay no more than $250.

Prices for flights are WAY too high now. I was looking to fly to cancun in January and 2 tickets round trip was 1k.

we are going in mid-december, and we booked for about $275 each, i think, but in the few months that we were looking at flights they went all the way up to $700!

Me too - and I was looking for June! Hopefully when it comes time to booking our travel agent can find us a good deal
