So FH and I are having a signature drink. We have a snowflake/blue themed wedding, so we are having a blue martini and I want to have a snowflake floating in them. Or evem one that can hang on the rim of the glass. I've googled, but nothing. Anyone heard/seen this before?? Dont wanna make the candy myself.

Re: candied snowflakes for drink
I've seen sugared ones going on cakes and stuff but won't they disintegrate in the drink? Just a thought!

Yes and thats ok. They being handed to guest as they arrive. So as long as its there when they first see it. They'll drop it in as they hand it

I would test that stuff to see how long they last. If the drinks are being handed out as guests come in - depending on how many guests you have, the drinks could be sitting around for a few minutes before they're handed over.
What about just doing the sugar lining on the glass rim? That could be your 'snow'

Maybe do some sort of snowflake wine glass charms instead? Like this:

Re: candied snowflakes for drink
why dont you just have the bartender rim the glass with sugar, or blue tinted sugar.. that will give it a snowy effect, and taste good too. kinda like a salt rim on a margarita

Re: candied snowflakes for drink
Here's a link for edible snowflake confetti, Amazon.com, you could put a few in each drink:
Thanks girls. Love the ideas. I do however love the snowflake charm, but what would happen to them after everyones done with the drinks?? I wouldnt want them to get thrown out.. I most likely will go with the sugar rim on the glass. =)
