We are using mostly candles and a few black magic roses for our centerpieces. I have pics on my home computer that I can FM you later. I believe it is coming to around $75 a table. If you don't have a florist already, I would strongly suggest Flower Michele. John is the best.
there are a lot of girls, myself included, that are doing all candles or candles with flowers. I am still toying with ideas, but I am thinking of using this- $12.99 at Sears. I am having two small julep cups with a few full stems (roses, peonies) in them and something like this in the middle. I am using a florist, and thus far, he has been fantastic.

I am using candle centerpieces. The first picture is what I was originally going to do for about $35 per centerpiece. I was going to purchase and set up each centerpiece myself.
Then I met with my florist (LA Blossoms) and she informed me Giorgio's (along w/most halls) don't allow floating candles due to fire laws. She came up with the second pictures. We will be adding votive around the centerpiece. She's doing them for about the same money and she sets them up!
