candle centerpieces

I'm thinking about having candle centerpieces rather than flowers. If anyone is doing this or has done it, can you please post pictures. TIA

We are thinking something like this...

But since we want a little more to it, we may add either sand (like we are using during the sand ceremony) or sea glass inside the hurrican glass with the candle.

We're doing candle CPs. This is what we're using, and we're putting votives around it and getting silk rose petals.

i will post pics after i get my proofs (which i pick up tonight!!!). but i got my candle centerpiece idea from jen2999. i bought pillar candleabras ($10) from walmart and pillar candles ($4 for 3pk) from target and sprinkled rose petals around it, they were absolutely beautiful! check walmart and targets candle section for ideas! each centerpiece was less than $20 for us!

Michaels had these Hurricane vases. I'm not sure if I remember the hight correctly. It is approx. 7' tall for 7.99 and 10' tall for 9.99

I'm going to hit AC Moore this weekend to see what they have.

Just as an FYI, I got 8' hurricanes at AC Moore last week that were on sale for $1.99 each!! I couldn't believe it! I'm using those as CPs for my e party. I'm making all of the CPs for about $5 each by hitting the sales at AC Moore, so keep a look out. I personally think AC moore has better sales then Michaels so just check the circulars!

those centerpieces are all beautiful. I think I'm going to check out AC Moore b/c I've seen the deals that they have really good deals. Thanks for all the pictures so far.
