What about putting them on a glass dish or in a glass container of some sort??? I've never heard of dripless candles either?

I did not get dripless. They will be in votive & hurricane holders. I got some from ebay and some from a store in Hicksville (Crazy Candles)

Re: Candle Centerpieces
I am doing a pillar in a hurricane vase & then votives & petals around the base of the hurricane so the candles will all be in glass holders!! I don't know, I assumed dripless candles were a standard request from RH?? Hmmm...

Look for a wide single wick candle that will only burn down to the center.

Does your RH know they will be in a hurricane vase? Maybe they think you want candles out in the open

In that situation I wouldn't imagine that they'd have a problem with the type of candle contained in the glass holders?!?!?! I would think that might only apply to taper candles in the tall candleabras since you wouldn't want them dripping down on anything below them. I would double check with the RH to make sure you would really need them since all your candles will be in glass holders.

Re: Candle Centerpieces
Hi Ladies,
OK I used to work in Yankee candle. There is such a thing as dripless candles. But it is never 100% there is always a little drippage. And yes they are the taper candles the long skinny ones you would use at a candle lit dinner.
For a hurricane you would use Pillare candles which only burn down the center and keep its shape around it. However you have to contunually trim the wick so the wick does not bend over which will make a hole through the candle and again have spillage.
Hope that helps, Good Luck!!!!
And make sure they are scentless...
