Candlelight Ceremonies?

Candlelight Ceremonies?

Has anyone had a candlelight ceremony in a church? Just an idea I am thinking about. The church where I may be getting married is rather dark, just stained glass windows and I thought it would be very pretty. I'm thinking photography and video could be a problem but not sure. Wondering also how it could be done with candles in the church, not even sure if churches allow it but just an idea I was thinking of....Anyone??? Any pictures, even better!!!

I wanted to do a candelit ceremony, but my church won't allow candles - fire hazard I guess. (It's a really old wood church)

I bet it would look FANTASTIC!!

I am having a candleight ceremony, its going to be bautiful!! Im getting married ina chapel, we just have to use dripless candles, and through Jack and Rose florists, we are renting the most amazing candleabras, they are stunning, they stand on teh floor and are taller than us. I think there are 9 24 inch candles on each candleabra and we are having one on either side of us.

I had a candlelight ceremony, but not in the church, at the reception hall.

The photography came out fine.. I didn't get a videographer though b/c I thought the light would be very intrusive.

we also rented large candleabras.
