Candles - Non Drip vs Regular ?

Hi Ladies,

For those using candles as centerpieces (or those that already have!!) I was wondering if you found there is a major difference between non drip and regular candles?

I bought the inexpensive candles at Michaels to test and burned one of the 3x6 pillars. It doesn't say that it's non drip but it really didn't make a mess (after burning for 5 hours).

Any thoughts ???? Anyone have a big problem with the $1 and $3 cheap candle pillars at Michaels??

Thank You!!!

I think the non-drips are great for tapers...the thicker pillar candles are no prob bcuz of the size....

$ 1 and $ 3 pillars at Michaels??!?! I've never seen them that cheap - usually they are around $7 or $8 each...am I missing something? Where did you find them at that price? (FM me please)

We had candle CPs and didn't have any problems with dripping. I also bought the inexpensive ones at Michael's, tho they were votives, not pillars. We had them all in candle holders so there was no mess on the mirror.
