Candy bar

Hi girls im so happy to be a part of this group to ask you girls anything .. Thank you all again .. Heres the question i see in the theme forum candy bars again . WOuld anyone do a candy buffet as a favor like the take out white boxes and then as there leaving they fill what they want .. Or is that not enough ... ?? so would any of you do candy boxes as a favor ..

I don't think so b/c that's exactly what we're doing... We're having the nice baggies made up with our names on it and a whole smorgasbord (I think I spelled that right) of candy. Tons of candies, choc covered strawberries, choc covored fruits, roasted nuts, etc. We were also thinking of doing the bagels with the NY times as you leave.

the lady i work with, her daughter did that in october.....everyone helped themselves to a goody bag, i think its fine!

Yup... actually I think it's better than a lot of types of favors b/c this is something people can pick what they like and eat it. Do you know how many favors I wind up throwing away... salt and pepper shakers, little clocks, candles, etc. This is something they pick for themselves and eat it later or the next day.

M&M's. licorice, shoe strings, choc covered strawberries or they can do white choc covered strawberries to go with your colors, personalized hershey bars, kisses, etc.

For the Red and White theme. you can get:
Red and White M&M's
Those Red and white sunburst Mint's
White Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Red Hots
Swedish Fish

Ok girls my mom is saying maybe i should just fill the boxes up myself and not have the table what do you guys think . i thoght it would be cute but my family never see anything like you girls lol .

I went to a wedding that did this. I think its a great idea. EVERYONE loved it. There was not one person that did not take a whole bunch of candy. They also had popcorn machines and cotton candy machines at the same time.
