i was thinking of doing a candy bar at the wedding, i just read a few posts of people who did it at their e-party instead.
Whats your opinion? better for the wedding or the e-party? or do it both times? lol

i never even thought to do it at the e-party. thatd be really cute. i'm torn too because i'm not sure if our favor is going to be candy related. i guess it depends, where are you having your e-party?

FH thinks its too 'kiddie' and since we arent having any kids we dont need one.
i asked around on the other boards and all the ladies said it was a big hit even at the adult only receptions

i had my sweet 16 there, nice place, especially for an e-party. i'd say have it there, maybe just a smaller version, and then if you still want to have a bigger one at your wedding. kinda like a trial run if you will, lol

I think either or. You can have it at both! I like the e-party idea...it adds a little extra to a smaller party.

I think it would be really cute to do a small version at your eparty and then depending on how well it goes over there you can do a bigger version at your wedding

I think it depends on what you are doing as favors and what you are having for dessert at the wedding.
We are doing full viennesse which comes w/ 2 choc fountains... so a candy bar would be unnecessary. if you are doing just cake, a candy bar could be lots of fun.
we just had 2 cakes at our e-party (a napoleon cake that was provided by the place, and a custom ice cream cake that my dad's friend made for us) but if we had it at a hall instead of a restaurant a candy bar would have been really fun for that!

Either one would be great- but maybe try to do at the one that will have less 'desert' type food/sweet food. Or if you don't have a favor for the eparty yet, you can make cute little bottles to hold the candy and then have the guests fill it up and that can be the favor
