Did anyone do one of these? I want to do one and am starting to think about ordering/buying candy, but I have no idea how much to buy. Anyone have any rule of thumbs for pounds of candy per # of guests? I have no idea how much of each to buy? Thanks!!

We did one! We had 7 varieties of candy and had approx. 50 pounds for 180 guests. The RH forgot to put out one of the candies and we still had tons of everything left over to bring home.
We ordered from Sweet City Candy. Their warehouse is in Syosset so it shipped and arrived in 1 day. Website is great bc you get 10% off your first purchase, can't go wrong!

I had a candy bar at my e-party. They are pretty coslty if you use custom colored candy plus you need to buy scoops, jars, favor bags and labels. I rec. buying from CandyWarehouse.com.
I ended up borrowing jars from my FSIL and did a red and black theme so I could easily buy candy from BJs (so much cheaper!). I spent about $150-$200 on just the candy for 7 jars. I rec. 5lbs for larger jars but you need at least 1 Lb. Also, check out Amazon.com. HTH
