Candy Bars

I want to have one set up at the end of the reception for guests to make their own bags of candy to take home. As of right now I'm expecting about 200 people. How much candy/ how many jars? any other details? any feedback would be appreciated!

also, a friend of mine just mentioned something about renting all of the supplies (jars, scoops). does anyone know anything about this?

I might be wrong, but I thought it was something like 1 lb of candy per guest.

Not sure where you can rent the stuff, but I am sure there are companies that will do the whole thing for you.

i dont think it is 1 lb per guest. that would be 200 lbs of candy!!!


i think it depends on your containers- if you use the chinese food take out ones and which size you get, then you can figure from there..

wow! i can't believe how much candy for one person!!! omg. maybe i will get really teeny tiny containers so they can't take that much!
