Candy Buffet

Has anyone had a candy buffet at their wedding or been to one with a candy buffet? Was it a hit?
My mom put the idea in my head yesterday about having one, and I'd like some opinions on it, and pictures if you have any!!
Also, would having the candy buffet be considered the favor for the guests, or is this just a little extra something to add on?

I am doing a candy buffet. I think the most important part of the candy buffet is to make it BIG. I went to a wedding where they calculated how much candy they would need based on the number of people they had and it was very cheesy looking. Even the bride said they should have had more candy even if they didn't need it.

I think this article gives some good tips

It is my main favor but I am also doing a CD Placecard that is sort of a favor also.

I went to a wedding where it was the favor. The table was set up as you were leaving the RH. You got a bag and could take as much candy as you wanted! It was AWESOME!! I'm all for favors that you can eat or drink! (I'm a closet fat a$$!)

I loved it so much, that we're doing one!!

I love the idea of it, but I just feel like there is going to be SO much food there, plus the Viennese table, its enough already.
