For any brides that did a candy buffet - I wanted to ask a few questions:
- Where did you find the best deals on candy?
- When was the candy set up in the RH? Did they bring it out at the end, or was it there the entire time?
TIA!

Re: Candy Buffet Brides
We purchased most of our candy online from metrocandy.com or from BJs. Originally, JT wanted to wheel the candy buffet out during dessert but I asked if we'd be able to have it out the whole time. They worked with me and we found a spot to have it set up the whole time. I have more info in my review though!

Re: Candy Buffet Brides
We bought most of it at 'Economy Candy' in Manhattan. It's on Rivington Street - downtown. It has many types of the old-fashion candy. It's a very small store, but has many different types and the prices were very good.
I provided all the bowls & scoopers and the Swan Club set it up for us towards the end of the reception. There are pictures in my review!

Sweet City Candy---you get 10% your first (and probably only) order on this site. It came very quickly and they were very easy to deal with.

Re: Candy Buffet Brides
We borrowed the jars and scoops from a friend that owned them. So that cost was zero.
We purchased 50 pounds of candy for our 180 guests--had more than enough. Paid about $150 through Sweet City Candy.
Candy bags cost about $30.
We did this extremely low budget...it can definitely cost a lot more!

How far in advance can you buy the candy?

I bought it a week prior to drop off, it was shipped from a warehouse in Syosset and took 1 day to arrive.
