I love the chocolate covered strawberries!!! Especially those they are so cute!
It's probably best to use as many wrapped candies as you can. But knowing me I would definately want to have M&M's. Maybe you can use like mini snickers and milky ways, for example too.

Re: Candy Buffet -What kind of candy
If I were to do one, I would try to do fall colors... Red, brown, orange, and yellow M&M's, hershey kisses in fall colored foil, fall hershey miniatures, etc.

Re: Candy Buffet -What kind of candy
Fh's cousin did a candy buffet and she did a theme. Her wedding was right after Halloween so she did Halloween candy like candy corns. She also had andes mints. I forget what else she did but maybe you can get candy that will reflect your wedding theme or the colors of your wedding.

Re: Candy Buffet -What kind of candy
Ive seen a bunch on here who have done themes where they had the same color candy as their colors. See enjft (I think i spelled that right) her review. She had a beautiful set up!
For the chocolate covered strawberries, I wouldnt include it in the candy bar bc I think mostly people just pick candy and toss it in a bag/box. What if you arrange for the hall to put a platter on each table when cake is served with the strawberries??

Re: Candy Buffet -What kind of candy
I am planning on doing one and as of now I am not sticking to a theme. I want a ton of different candies that we love... I want as many as possible... I am hoping to run to all the stores after this halloween to get as much candy as I can in my fall colors :)

I love those strawberries... but are they super expensive???? I always thought I would have them at each table, but I didn't realize how expensive they can be... Also thinking about doing candy bar... especially those blue and red raspberry gummies... I LOVE THOSE and they fit our colors so nicely

I don't think I'm going to bother with a theme or color scheme. I just like candy!

Are you going with a color scheme? If not then you can try different stores that you may know of that sells candy in bulk.
You can use hershey kisses jelly beans m&m's red hots
Their are some many to choose from it's what you like.
Definitely check out enjft bridal review. Her candy buffet was a hit

I want to do an insane amount of candy - loose and wrapped everything... I'll probably go over the top to make it more like trick or treating.

That is very appropriate for your day... are you having people wear costumes?

No, that's too crazy even for me. I dont want to look at pictures and be like 'who is that frankenstein?' We want to do masks at each place setting though.

True, I didn't think of that! Halloween is FH and my favorite holiday... the masks are a nice touch though!

I love those!!! They are so cute! I was thinking of doing some of the candy that has the personalized wrappers. We are definitely doing M&Ms.

Re: Candy Buffet -What kind of candy
I was looking at candy today and really want to do Orange and White candy. I love rocky candy and think it would look cool. I also want to get those huge lollipops in orange.
Also jelly beans, and I saw just white gummy bears. I was having fun looking at all that stuff.
