candy centerpiece for kids table

I am looking for pics & ideas to make a nice candy centerpiece

I've seen some ideas of filling a vase w/candy etc

we are having a kids tables with coloring books and stuff like that how about making a crayon CP??

Oh I just saw something in Modern Bride Magazine........she got large clear jars and just loaded them up with differnent candies. Very Cute!

we will be doing the metal pails filled w/ crayons/markers/DIY coloring books for each child
game books etc..

FYI, my SIL just saw this at her cousins wedding. She thought it was really really nice, but her kids dove into it and they all had sugar highs. That means running, tempers and what-not. Have you thought about a craft idea instead. I am doing small 99cent games from Target like pick up sticks and mini Jenga. Plus I made up some wedding day coloring books. Hope that gives you some ideas
