Candy favors - how far in advance should I make them?

Hi,
I'm ordering some Jordan almonds & champagne gumdrops to fill up some favors, how far in advance can I make this stuff without it going stale before the wedding?? Thanks all.. I am wondering when I should order the candy and how long it stays fresh
