Cannot BELIEVE what my FMIL did today!!!

I wrote yesterday about how my FIL's were flipping out about the seating chart, even though we asked them for help 2 weeks ago and they didn't help...

Welllllll my FMIL actually WENT to our RH today!!!! I was at work when FH called me and said his mother was at the RH and with his permission, they gave her all of our placecards, a copy of our floor plan, a copy of our seating chart and a copy of our guest list!!! I'm INFURIATED beyond belief. He gave permission because if he said no, this would have caused the biggest drama in the world, but he told his mother that if she's going to change our seating chart 4 days before the wedding, SHE is writing out our place cards and re-writing our alphabetized guest list and re-doing our entire floor plan... Oh and not only did she do all that and she has to bring it all back tomorrow morning, but she also took guests off that apparently aren't coming anymore and she added new guests... Gee, thanks for telling us!

I cannot believe this woman actually went there! I feel like this isn't even my wedding anymore because every other day is new drama where my FIL's are getting involved, and I'm sick of it!! It's so sad because it's supposed to be the happiest day of my life and I honestly can't wait for it to be over!!

What an overbearing, controlling person!
Some people have no manner or consideration.
Do your best to not allow this to destroy your wedding week. You will only get this time once and you will regret it if you look back and feel that this drama ruined things. Forget about her and focus on the fact that you are marrying the person you love.

That takes balls and after the wedding... i would totally let her and her husband have a piece of my mind with an icy smile on my face. The nerve of them to cause you and FH stress... ridiculous.

It stinks because you will have to deal with her for your entire married life. I really feel for you.

my first instinct was to go rip her a new you know what!!!

but then i thought about it...I dont think its worth the stress. It really is not worth you getting all bent out of shape..

CLEARLY she did this to piss you off, which shows she has little respect for you or your wedding... do not let her know she got to you...

take a deep breath( as hard as i can imagine this is) and remember its just a seating chart... you WILL have a beautiful day!!!

Thank you for all your responses... After having a lot of wine and flipping out to FH all night, I've finally let it go. She's the one that looks like a complete idiot at the end, so let her go change the seating chart and cause drama. It's 4 days until the wedding and she's stressing me out soo much but I really need to just let her do whatever she wants because otherwise I'm just gonna have a breakdown. At the end of the day, FH and I will be getting married and I don't care where these people are sitting, I only care that she's making our lives that much more complicated....
