I am having a hard time picking a florist. I called up many of the florists that have been recommended here. For the most part (there are a few exceptions), I believe all else equal the quality of the roses are the same.
And I know which flowers I want. I want Black Magic and Vendala roses.
And the little things like boutineres (sp) have such varying prices from free to over 12 bucks! Anyways, I would be extremely grateful if I can see some of the quotes you had for flowers for your bridal party especially if you only had roses. FM is okay.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Cannot pick a florist
I am using Jack & Rose & was quoted $3500 for 20-22 centerpieces--up to 16 stands to choose from. 6 BM Bo-k, 7 ushers, bride bo-k, groom, parents, readers, grandparents flowers. We also got alot thrown in and we can choose any flower we want--the price won't change.

Be careful, quality is not the same. Some florists flowers don't last through the night. Go with recommendations!!!

and also some florists are a certain way at first and change their tune down the line. Whatever you do, check BBB and steer clear of anyone with any negative feedback.
If you haven't done so already, meet with Flower Michele

Good advice!! Im realizing now that this happens! Choose someone that gives you a good deal but at the same time you already feel comfortable talking to and makes you feel confident their work will be great!

Re: Cannot pick a florist
we used PEDESTALS and thought they were great! Here was our CP...
We're doing all roses also. Flowers were not important to me at all so I wanted to be as inexpensive as possible. We are spending a little over $1100 (I only have a MOH. The Flower Barn gave us a couple of roses when we went for the initial consultation and they lasted over a week.

Re: Cannot pick a florist
I'm using Burton. I'm paying about 1500 for 12 center pieces, 2 mo, 2bm, 1fg, 1rb, 3 gm, 1bm ect. I'm not using roses, but that price is for any flower at all.

Re: Cannot pick a florist
We are using the Flower Barn and I am thrilled with their quality and pricing. For example, We book a week and a half ago and Michael gave me a beautiful, huge red rose... it is still beautiful! Just something to think about. He is in Seaford.

WELL SAID BRI! The lowest price, even if it is just roses you want...DOES NOT mean good service. CHECK OUT THE FLORIST!

Re: Cannot pick a florist
You really should do searches on the review board and read what brides have written - we've seen the end result of working with a florist and also have dealt with them.

I second Flower Barn. Mike is a perfectionist.
